How much effort does making a brew at home require? Well, not as much as you'd think. The hardest part for most of our kits is just mixing in the water with the provided ingredients. The rest of the time is mostly just spent waiting for the alcohol to ferment.

How long does it take to make a brew from start to finish? For spirits it can take as little as 3 days, and for beer it can take as much as 4 weeks (however this is mainly to allow for bottle conditioning/carbonation). Here's a breakdown; our JAW spirit kits take about 20 minutes to mix ingredients, then approx. 24-48 hours to ferment completely (this can vary based on temperature) and finally the last distilling stage of the spirit can take up to 10 hours (also depending how pure you would like the alcohol to be). Our JAW beer kits take roughly 20 minutes also to mix ingredients, 7 days to ferment completely, 40 minutes to bottle and add carbonation drops, and a further 2-3 weeks to allow the carbonation to take place. OVERALL, the active effort required for each JAW kit is less than 4 hours.

What is a JAW kit? A JAW kit (or Just Add Water kit) is our ingredient package that completely simplifies the way you brew. We provide all of the ingredients required to make a clean and tasty brew, where the only thing you need to add is just the water to mix it all with. Its as simple as that.

How much does it cost per standard drink? All of our JAW kits are designed to limit cost-per-drink to less than $0.70, although fluctuations could make that cheaper or slightly more expensive, depending on circumstances. Expected alcohol yields and volume yields are displayed clearly on each JAW kit, where the cost per drink can be easily calculated from there.

If I am not satisfied by my kit, can I get a refund? Of course! While we try our best to satisfy all of our customer needs and doubt that you will not be satisfied (because once you start brewing, its very hard to stop), we understand that our products are not for everyone, so if you try it and find out its not for you, you can get a full refund within 60 days of purchase. (Refund may not include shipping or shipping protection costs unless faults in the products are present.)
